Casella is excited to extend its partnership with the Town of Buxton and convert its collection to an automated system. This page will provide all necessary information residents will need to understand the changes to the Town’s curbside collection program.

Trash collection occurs weekly on your service day, either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Here is the holiday schedule for the year after service begins:

  • Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 23, 2023: One-day Delay for Thursday and Friday service days
  • Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, 2022: No Delay

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE KEY DATES:

  • July 24, 2023 – Cart delivery begins
  • Early August 2023 – Start of Automated Collection
